There is an almost non existent town in Pensylvania. A town where no one lives anymore due to a fire that started burning in 1962. The belief is that the fire was started by workers in a rubbish dump. The town was a coal mining town and to this day, the fires have not been put out.

However, the church still survives and in fact, holds regular church services. The townsfolk decided to continue to visit their church, a church where they and their ancestors had been born, married, and were buried.

It was established that the church was built on rock and not coal, so it is safe from the fire it seems. This is a great story of people who refuse to give up on their church.
