No, the only one you stood a chance of getting the truth from has just passed.

What happened to the files from Lord Denning's inquiry?

The ones that got lost or were burnt in that fire?

I have no direct knowledge, but it's got the whiff of 'withheld for national security'.

Perhaps we might see a copy - still with some redactions - when 75 years or even 100 have passed.

I knew Profumo slightly. After the dust settled he used to volunteer at Toynbee Hall in London as did I for a while. Profumo had been there years and was almost part of the fixtures. Thoroughly nice chap, no 'side' to him at all.

I note in the Guardian link Keeler is described as a 'former model'.

A little bit of rewriting of history there, were she just a former model she wouldn't rate an obituary in The Guardian.

'Prostitute' or the quaint 'call girl' would be more accurate.

I suspect The Guardian agreed to use the term former model to get Keeler's son to agree to an interview - which did give a unique insight into her life.

To be fair, the paper does mention the pimp Ward's trial for living off immoral earnings of Keeler and others, which goes some way indicate nature of the real interest in this story.

    I was delighted when I saw that this had been high lighted, I assume thereby proving that everything the left leaning Guardian prints is untrue, otherwise, why mention it? So I had a look at some others;

The Express - former model, model, glamorous teenage model, would be model
The Telegraph - model, devastating leggy beauty
The Sun - model, topless cabaret dancer

You might want to have a look for some others. You know, sometimes it's almost as if you have an agenda.

Of course it could it just be nothing more than that the link in the OP was from the Guardian and they carried Keeler's sons interview? There isn't always an agenda.

It could be, that must be why The Guardian was mentioned three times in one post.

Time to get this one back on topic.

Which is Keeler and press coverage of her death.

Any more off-topic posts will be deleted.

Has anybody checked to see how she was described in the Daily Mail?

I checked the Daily Mail, they described her as a former model, it would seem that even the gutter press have more respect for a woman arguably abused by powerful men than some.
