Yes another story from 100 years ago, but the story of Elsie Inglis is fascinating. I for one have never heard of this remarkable woman before. After being dismissed by the powers that be, she joined the war movement, went to Serbia, raised the equivelant of fifty three million pounds, set up 14 war hospitals and and her and her team saved the lives of countless people.

She is well known and loved in Serbia, but for some reason all but unknowm in the UK. If people are looking for someone to look up to, then they don't have far to look. This woman had everything in spades.
