Here we have the mundane news thread. The more mundane the better. Any off topic stuff is welcome .
As a result of the hideous, dreadful, blizzardy weather that has been predicted for this week, i ventured out to town to buy some essential food such as biscuits and some alcohol on the off chance that we become snowed in here for at least 5 minutes this week.
I see Mary Beard is on BBC4 tonight. I do like her. There is another good programme on after that called How the Celts saved Britain. It's on the same channel.
GDPR. As dull as ditch water and it has been my task today to prepare guidance for 850 model flying clubs on it.
Mundane but with big fines for non compliance.
What an exciting life you lead. .
It has its moments. Today not being one of them.
Did manage a 50 minute Zwift workout to brighten the day thoigh.

I read about that. wasn't there an Australian film about something similar. Or new Zealand? I am sure it was on now TV.

Wel. Not THE film, but a similar one about a drug mule i believe.
Must be interesting, to say the least.
Parts of it were quite gross to say the least. I will have a look tomorrow to see if it is still on Now TV.
How do you feel about the explosion in drones. Often with the selling point being the attached camera(s), allowing you to see where you'd not normally see?
There seems to be little enforcement of the rules when compared to radio controlled helicopters. I've on, R/C helicopter, but would never think of flying it in th street or my garden.
