A new president will be appointed today in Zimbawbe. Mr Mnangagwa will sworn in. Ex president Mr Mugabe and his wife Grace are not expected to attend the ceremony.

Can the country now start to heal, and the rifts that exist and put an end to the corruption that the opposition party has highlighted?

Time will tell i suppose. We can only wait and see. The problems are numerous, old, and oppinions and biased perceptions will be hard get past.

All good wishes to Zimbabwe for every success in the future.
Call me old fashioned but .. a lad nicknamed 'The Crocodile' isn't somebody I'd necessarily want to sit across from in a poker game.
That said if he'd been nicknamed "Mr Kitten" at school, would he have got so far politically?
    Kids can be cruel.
