Oops. A bit of a blunder.

    This story caught my eye on Flipboard. In America one policeman accidentally tasered his colleague as they were trying to arrest someone.

    I wonder what the atmosphere was like in the squad room. I bet the policeman who tasered his colleague won't be allowed to forget that one in a hurry.

    Not strictly politics but quite amusing (as long as it isn't you that was the victim).

    The taser is an interesting device.

    It has little impact on some people, which operationally is a bit of a challenge.

    The copper using it always has in the back of his mind the suspect may be one of those people.

    Same with CS gas/pepper spray.

    In 99.9 percent of cases it does what's expected of it, but very occasionally has next to no impact.

    And in the some cases it's been known to interfere with implants.
