The money would not be a "price for Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe's release" but a "goodwill gesture", says Sky's Alistair Bunkall

Bailing out Boris? Paying a ransom for Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe's release? or even caving in to blackmail from her husband? What a mess.

Surely the simplest solution would be to offer them Boris as a straight swap?

Maybe Boris could pay it out of his own pocket rather than the government coffers.

    Seems reasonable.
That lass's employers Thomson-Reuters should, of course; pay it.
